Who we are

metricnyc.com is the quote-request website of Metric Consulting and Inspection, 184 Engineers Dr, Hicksville, NY 11801 — a special inspection agency and NYC DOB-licensed concrete testing laboratory. This policy explains what information the site collects when you request a quote and how it is used.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form, we collect what you type:

• your name and company
• your work email address
• your phone number, only if you choose to enter it
• the service you need, the project location and the project details you describe

We also record technical information needed to run the site and prevent abuse: the date and time of your request, a one-way hashed version of your IP address (the address itself is not stored), your browser type, and the campaign parameters attached to the link you arrived from (such as gclid and utm_*) when you came from an online ad.

How we use it

• to review your project and send you a quote by email — or call you, if you left a phone number
• to send you a confirmation that your request was received, and to follow up about it
• to keep an internal record of quote requests and their outcome
• to measure which advertising brought you to the site, so we can run it responsibly
• to detect spam and automated submissions

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing. Every request is first saved in our records and only then forwarded to our engineers.

Who processes it

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage and email delivery) in the United States. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person without showing you a puzzle; it may process your IP address and browser information for that purpose. If you arrive from a Google ad, Google Ads conversion tracking records that a request was sent, using a cookie set by Google. The map on our pages is a drawing that links to Google Maps; nothing is loaded from Google until you click it.

Cookies

If the quote form is sent back with an error, the site sets one cookie for 10 minutes so that what you typed is still there when the form reappears; it is deleted as soon as the form is shown again and is never used for anything else. Google Ads may set its conversion cookie when you come from an ad. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies beyond that. You can block cookies in your browser; the quote form still works.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are part of our business records and are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Technical information used for spam prevention is kept with the request.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about your request, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Send your request through the contact form and quote your reference number (MNY-…). We reply by email.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
